Dinner parties
We have a large room, off the main restaurant, which is ideal for private dinner parties. It can seat up to 30 comfortably. Our chefs are more than happy to create bespoke set menus for your celebration, and we can offer delicious home made birthday / anniversary cakes.
Birthday celebrations
The Bear can accommodate small or large parties, and we are happy to offer exclusive use (with a reasonable minimum spend) or simply reserve an area of the pub.
Our chefs are able to provide various delicious catering options - buffets/barbecues/canapes or sit down meals. We have a perfect dancefloor area & disco lights, and access to the best local DJs. We have a 1am licence at weekends, but with sufficient notice it's possible to extend this. Do give us a call to discuss your party. Please find below some sample buffet menus, but we are also happy to create bespoke menus.
Christenings, funerals, leaving parties, anniversaries - we would love to help make your event special.
